Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Students can apply for OPT up to 90 days before their program completion date and no later than 60 days after the program completion date.

It is recommended that students apply for OPT close to 90 days before their program completion date.

Students on OPT are required to report certain changes within 10 days of the change. Please review the Reporting Requirements on OPT section for more information on important deadlines and timelines.
